My grandfather has spent his life circling the globe by bicycle, by motorcycle, by sailboat, putting thousands of miles behind him. Wherever he went, two things always pulled him in: people and music. He loves what it does to a room, how it turns strangers into family for a night.
Every star we add to the silo stands for 1,000 people following along, but it's more than a number. Each one is a person who believes in this dream, who wants to come and share a night of music with us. It's another group of people brought together under one idea, one story, something we could all use more of right now. We're all just people, and we need things we love, shared together, to remind us of that.
And each star means something else to me, too. My grandfather won't be around forever. When he's gone, every star on that silo will be him looking down on us, dancing in his barn, year after year. This is for him, and for every grandfather and grandmother who ever had a dream like his.

Four songwriters, guitars in hand, in the hay for about 50 minutes. Lineup (tentative): Lilly, Lara, Noah Mellott & Chancellor Lawson.
THEN, THE DANCIN'The barn dance
The chairs clear out, the band picks up the tempo, and we teach everybody a quick 2-step — it morphs into one big social dance from there.

Not at all — we'll teach a simple 2-step before the dancing starts.

The barn is covered, so we're good in a light rain. In severe thunderstorms, we'll take safety measures to make sure everyone's taken care of; the event is insured.

Your exact address and a parking map will be emailed once you've got your ticket — you'll pull into the first driveway and park along the riding ring.

Our barn dance band will play traditional country and bluegrass with a caller.
